In Bubsy, the player goes after aliens called "Woolies" that have stolen the world's yarn ball supply. Being a bobcat, Bubsy isn't very fond of the woolly beings and goes after them.
The game features five main worlds with three levels in each, and a final level after completion of the first 15 levels. Gameplay resembles that of Sonic and Super Mario Bros.
