The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall is the second installment in The Elder Scrolls series. It is set in the Iliac Bay area of High Rock and Hammerfell during the Third Era of Tamriel's history, ending in an event called the Warp in the West. The plot of the game revolves around the Mantella and Totem of Tiber Septim, which together can activate the Numidium.

Lycanthropy is a disease that can be contracted in The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. Similar to Vampirism, the infected party transforms into a lycanthropic creature. Two types of lycanthropes transmit this disease: werewolves and wereboar. The disease is spread through direct contact with afflicted creatures. Specifically, every successful hit from a werewolf or wereboar carries a 0.6% chance of infecting the player character. Disease immunity and resistance will not prevent infection—only vampire characters are actually immune to lycanthropy.

Beastfolk Races:

Khajiit:

Descended from the great cats of the desert, the Khajiit are an agile, intelligent, and hardy people. Some chose to decorate their faces in the style of their feline ancestors, and most all, given their inclination, make excellent thieves due to their Climbing abilities. They also have visible tails.

Argonians:

The strange reptilian people of Black Marsh seem equally comfortable in the water - surely no other race of Tamriel can swim faster or longer than Argonians. An intelligent, quick-footed, and agile people, Argonians often train in magery and thievery.
