The game's main point is to survive as a wolf.
Species
The game's main point is to survive as a wolf. This is handled by maintaining the wolf's health, hunger, stamina and thirst, the status of these is shown at the bottom of the screen. This part of the screen can also be used to initiate actions such as eating, drinking, sleeping, and using the wolf's senses, though there are also keys which serve the same purpose. The wolf's senses (sight, smell, hearing) are used to locate prey and evade human hunters, as well as find other wolves and traps.

The cursor is used to control the wolf's movements, and is used to attack prey or challenge other wolves by clicking them.

When a player enters the sandbox simulation mode, they will be given a rank in the pack according to the game's internal individual wolf strength stats. For example, one of the strongest male wolves is Centaurus and one of the strongest females is Rumour. The player can ascend through the ranks of the pack by attacking and hunting all forms of prey(alone or with the pack, just make the killing blow) or by following the alpha of the same sex and challenging them when they are unhealthy. When challenging a wolf, your health will decrease. If you try to challenge a healthy wolf too much, your wolf will die. There are three choices when confronting a wolf. You can choose to be submissive, in which you will surely take damage, moderate, and aggressive. If you choose aggressive, you will have a chance to attack the other wolf. If both wolves choose moderate, the wolves will wag themselves in a playful manner and the scene will end.

If the player is an alpha male, the entire pack will follow, but if not, the pack will only follow the alpha male. The pack can be summoned or found by howling and following the sound icons that appear on the screen.
