If you haven't played Squirrel with a Gun, you've been missing out! Our team at Uncivil Gamers very much enjoyed the time we spent with it during our Uncivil Weekly Release Party video recording. Squirrel with a Gun today received the Varmint Collection update, now playable on Steam, Epic, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with Nintendo Switch 2 to arrive soon, announced publisher Maximum Entertainment and developer Dee Dee Creations. The brand-new free DLC adds a slew of mischievous critters to the game’s squirrely action. Take a peek at the Varmint Collection’s wacky additions in today’s trailer:
Since its launch, Squirrel with a Gun has expanded gameplay with several post-launch DLC packs, including the Ratatoskr Update, Gravity Gun Update, Photo Mode Update, and Pride Month Update. And today, the Varmint Update brings an entirely new bundle of over-the-top shenanigans.
With the Varmint Collection, players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC today can:

Collect special Varmint furs that transform you into different critters: Cat with A Gun, Raccoon with A Gun, Possum with A Gun, and many more.

Do battle with sentient Trash Monsters that appear around the neighborhood

Explore 4 new bunkers with 10 golden acorns and exotic Varmint Furs.

Play a deadly game of Red-Light-Green-Light, climb a gigantic stone squirrel statue, or run around a rat's giant cage that's more sinister than it appears.

Go on a neighborhood-wide egg hunt for another fabulous furry prize!
Today’s update also adds New Game Plus, allowing you to replay cutscenes with any outfit and level up your Reload Wheels beyond a single playthrough's limits. All this and more awaits players in the Varmint Collection, available today on PS5, Xbox X|S, and PC.
