Hidalgo Preview - Creatively Constructed Co-op

When you’re looking for games to play with a buddy, sometimes you just want to work together in a comfy setting, sitting back on your couch or over Discord and enjoying a story together. Hidalgo looks to provide that in a lovely way, based on our playthrough of the demo. After a successful Kickstarter campaign that you can still make late pledges to, Hidalgo is expected to come out May 2026. This should give the team at Infinite Thread Games plenty of time to craft and perfect an already pleasant experience. Here are our thoughts on the demo of Hidalgo, which I played on Steam for this preview.

Cassette Beasts: Going Viral in New Wirral

Have you ever had a game on your radar that just slipped you by for a while until for whatever reason, you finally cave and give it a try? That was Cassette Beasts for me. My first exposure to Cassette Beasts was when Daxel and Valraven played it together on Stream a couple of years back. I thought it looked really cool at the time and I liked the gameplay I saw. I didn’t actually get it until recently though, just in time for its second anniversary. And it’s easily one of the best creature battler rpgs I’ve ever played.

Prohibeast Unveils Official Trailer

Is there anything slicker than a frog? What about a sea frog with a rocket-powered wrench expertly grinding and sliding his way around an overflowing amount of dangerous, varied, and exciting obstacles and objectives across giant sea-faring vessels? Seafrog, developed by OhMyMe Games, is all that and more. There’s a huge amount of gameplay stuffed inside the seahole that Master Seafrog is trapped inside that you’re trying to get out of. I found myself thoroughly enjoying the overall experience, and the game fully took advantage of its designed systems.
